Case Study 4 — Establishing a Citizenship-by-Education Pathway

Challenge:
A family from East Asia wanted their child to receive a high-quality international education and secure a legal pathway to European residency after graduation. They were overwhelmed by conflicting advice, complex visa regulations, and uncertainty about which universities offered credible post-study work opportunities.

Agora’s Role:
We began by identifying EU-based degree programs in high-demand fields that qualify for post-study work visas. After evaluating several countries, we recommended a program in Latvia that balanced affordability, quality of education, and a clear legal route to residency. We managed the entire admission process — from compiling academic records and language test preparation to securing acceptance letters. Our relocation specialists coordinated visa processing, accommodation arrangements, and cultural orientation sessions for both the student and family.

Outcome:
The student enrolled at the University of Latvia in a field with strong job prospects, while the parents secured a legal residency route connected to the education program. The family successfully combined educational goals with a long-term settlement plan, ensuring both academic and lifestyle stability in Europe.
