Case Study 2 — Digital Transformation for a Language Training Center

Challenge:
A mid-sized language training center in Eastern Europe relied heavily on in-person classes and local recruitment. In 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic severely impacted enrollments, and their lack of online teaching infrastructure made it difficult to retain students or reach new markets. Their brand was virtually unknown outside their home country, limiting growth opportunities.

Agora’s Role:
Our team conducted a full operational audit, identifying bottlenecks in marketing, curriculum delivery, and technology adoption. We designed and implemented a hybrid teaching model that integrated high-quality online classes with optional in-person sessions. Faculty received hands-on training in virtual classroom tools, student engagement techniques, and digital assessment methods. To expand reach, we developed a global marketing strategy targeting Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and East Asian markets, complete with multilingual promotional materials, SEO-optimized content, and partnerships with overseas education agents.

Outcome:
Within 12 months, enrollments increased by 42%, with 20% of students now coming from outside the country. The school established two active overseas partnerships and launched a profitable online course division, creating a sustainable, diversified revenue stream.
